David Sanders owner of Personal Touch Carpet Care in Fayetteville has recently completed a two-day course on health and safety.  This course was designed for restoration specialist desiring to provide necessary information to prepare technicians for health and safety in the workplace.  Areas of education that were covered in this course include:

Introduction to OSHA (OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION) and OSHA Regulations, fire protection, handling and proper disposal of hazardous materials, hazard communication, occupational health, personal protective equipment, the basics of electricity, electrical safety, blood borne pathogens, and mold remediation.  This course was mandatory in order to keep their Certified masters status.  David Sanders holds two masters, one in cleaning and another in restorative cleaning.

Every company should be concerned about health and safety, not only at the workplace but also at the customer’s home and business.

David Sanders is certified by the prestigious IICRC (INSTITUTE OF INSPECTION AND RESTORATION CERTIFICATION) the worlds most recognized body of certification in the cleaning industry.  Sanders is certified in the following areas: carpet cleaning, upholstery and fabric cleaning, journeyman cleaning technician, journeyman restoration (water), journeyman restoration (fire), water damage restoration, odor control, carpet repair and reinstallation, fire and Smoke restoration, master cleaning, and master restoration.
